My 1 bedroom flat in Kirkwall Orkney mainland is close to all amenities, for shops etc but also not far from pretty harbour and a short drive to the nearest beach. It comprises of open plan kitchen-living area, dual aspect bedroom, full bathroom with over bath shower. No garden, but plenty of green space nearby. A grocery store next door to me as well as a pharmacy , barbers and a hardware shop a 2 minute walk away. Suit a more "mature" person. Rent is very reasonable.My neighbours are very accommodating and helpful and most of all friendly! In return, I am looking for a flat or bungalow with one bedroom, access to a small garden and reasonably close to bus service and shops. Possibly some nearby access to park a car. Don't want a hi-rise flat in a huge block though!! Prefer something either 4 in a block or 1 up 1 down ..
